虽说老了老了帮着袁世凯鼓吹帝制，不过其为翻译界订的“信、达、雅”基调还是很到位的。
1931年——黄继光出生，中国人民志愿军战士。
小时候没少看他堵枪眼的故事，相对邱少云，他的事迹还算更可信些。
1935年——埃尔维斯·普雷斯利出生，昵称“猫王”，美国摇滚乐歌手
对其完全没有概念，当个标志记录一下吧。
1942年——史蒂芬·霍金出生，英国物理学家。
且不论天朝能不能出这种身残志坚的神人，能出一个会把理论物理写成《时间简史》的，就不错了。虽然我一直没有读完《时间简史》。
1965年——李丽珍出生，香港电影演员。
《大时代》里是相当惊艳的，前段时间，复出拍了部电影，风情依旧啊。
1979年——阿德里安·穆图出生，罗马尼亚足球运动员。
能力还是很强的，不过职业生涯比较悲剧了些。
1324年——马可·波罗逝世，意大利威尼斯商人、旅行家、探险家。
就他写的那本传奇小说，引得欧洲大陆觑觎天朝。
1642年——伽利略·伽利莱逝世，意大利物理学家、天文学家。
将经典物理向前推动了一大步的人。相对其他异端分子来说，他的下场算是不错的。妥协和让步换来生命，比什么追求真理献身更有意义的。
1976年——周恩来逝世，中华人民共和国、中国人民解放军和中国共产党创始人之一，第一任国务院总理。
长期居于太祖之下的第二把手。从某种角度上来说，周总理基本上符合天朝传统的“君子”标准：外形帅，民国四大美男之一；行中庸平和之道，这在冲突、矛盾时表现的是很明显的。一生功绩无需赘言，来膜拜吧。
