再来说说Becks的场上实力吧，世界杯主动辞去国家队队长一职来向新任主帅麦克拉伦示好，结果换来一句“英格兰队不再需要Beckham”。在俱乐部中，卡佩罗有并不喜欢Becks这种不具备较强防守能力和突破能力的中场，失去主力位置也是意料之中的事情。如果想要继续在欧陆寻找新的工作，基本上很难，高达35M欧元的年薪，并没有几支俱乐部支付的起：巴萨目前阵容完备，本身资金也不宽裕，拉波尔塔不会为了三年多之前的诺言来打破岌岌可危的财政平衡；AC米兰手握出售舍弹头的大笔资金，但年轻化才是目前球队的首要目的；Inter方面，面临近二十年来最好的称霸一时的机会，也不可能再弄来一个大牌球员破坏脆弱的更衣室；曼联…..回头路来得及么？利物浦、阿森纳更加不可能了；切尔西的话，还得看阿布是否还对大牌球员有兴趣，莫里尼奥是否还能忍受阿布的大牌政策；去卡塔尔的话，相信贝嫂会选择跟Becks离婚……感谢洛杉矶银河的出现……
总而言之，Becks西行是多方撮合而成的一次有着浓重商业气息的转会。相信即使不能实现多赢的局面，但至少不会有输家。
