还有两周，2008年就要进入历史课本了。各个媒体都忙于盘点2008年，诚然，2008年有着无数的话题可做盘点的素材。从摄影业到天灾，从人祸到奥运，从金融危机到改革开放三十年，随便抽出一个都足够编撰几个专题的。难怪和菜头用一个“乱”字来点评2008年的一切。
如果我拾人牙慧接着上边的内容扯淡下去的话，显然是有点2B了。所以，我更愿意用“山寨年”作为2008年的主旋律。
何谓山寨？其实还有很多人不是很清楚，我就我所知来阐述一下。
山寨一词最早流行起来还是在手机行业。因为万恶的手机生产商牌照制度，导致只有几家厂商可以推出自己的手机。但是由于市场需求，很多低成本的小作坊也生产手机。这些无牌销售的手机只有两条路：一、傍上某个获得牌照的厂商，借鸡下蛋，这一类俗称“贴牌机”；二、非法销售，混杂在翻新机、水货机中，俗称“黑手机”。当然了，也有将其和翻新机、水货机等所以非法经销的手机统称“黑手机”，我在这里只取其狭义的定义。
黑手机洗白之路，则是去年信产部——现在MS改名为信工部了——英明的取消了这个手机生产商牌照制度。黑手机成为合法的商品出现在市面上了。不过苦于这些手机没有统一的称呼来和国外品牌机、国内品牌机并称，加之黑手机的作坊多在广东，广东习惯称其为山寨机，所以山寨机就登上了历史的舞台。
我第一次见到山寨机还是2006年大学快毕业的时候，当然了，那时候还没有这个“标准化”的名字出现。一个同学，在广东打工的姐姐，给他买了一部酷似nokia
7370的手机。做早听说山寨机这个名词是在2007年底，当时在某IT媒体网站做产品。那时候只把这当作简单的仿冒品，从未想过山寨竟会升级成一种全民娱乐活动。
山寨机带来的不仅仅是联发科的集成芯片技术，也不仅仅是对手机行业的全面冲击，更多的是带给全民一个崭新的生活方式。“无事不可山寨”，成为2008年的一条辅助线索，让人们在受照片的娱乐和愚弄同时，体验朴素的生活；让人们在共襄盛举的同时，自得其乐；让人们在煎熬的双重寒冬里，玩味着最后一丝无奈。
王冉认为“山寨文化泛滥是一件丢人的事”。诚然，从山寨机以及多数山寨商品角度讲，的确是很丢人很下作的事情。但是，当山寨成为风尚，并得以“文化”冠名，就并非“简单效仿、小偷小摸和强取豪夺”那么浅显了。
因为山寨文化是民众对于生活和社会现状的一种自嘲和反讽，是对高端和权威的一种蔑视和不屑。凭什么“和尚摸得，我就摸不得”？
山寨文化本质来说，更是草根精神的一种延续和继承。再说夸张点，就是八十年代温州式小作坊生产的另类、非盈利的复辟。
山寨是生活，山寨是DIY，山寨是自力更生，山寨是苦中作乐。行将过去的2008年不该留下艳俗、悲痛、愤懑、欢庆的痕迹，更应该留下山寨这个标签。
